Applicable Base Polymer Properties

SBR dispersions are extensively used in building applications, as sealing and binding agents. In this application SBR is used as an alternative to other rubber based mastics, but it is more expensive. It offers better durability, reduced shrinkage and increased flexibility, as well as being resistant to damp conditions.

Resulting Properties

This adhesive is a high solids content styrene butadiene rubber based adhesive for use on carpet and felt backed flooring. Its properties include low cost, high degree of covering power, high loading capacity, easily cured, and low odor.
