Nippon Paint Holdings has completed the acquisition and payment on July 5, 2023 for 51 percent of the share capital of NPT and its’s subsidiaries through DGL International, a UK-based specified subsidiary established by DuluxGroup.
Commitment to Expansion
NPT is an Italy-based manufacturer and distributor of sealants and adhesives. Regarding this transaction, the company earlier announced its commitment to carry out the acquisition in “Notice Regarding Acquisition of Shares of European Sealants and Adhesives Manufacturer N.P.T. s.r.l. by Our Subsidiary” on February 6, 2023.
The company expects the acquisition will have a negligible impact on our consolidated earnings.
