Bostik Introduces Sustainable Bio-based HMAs for Durable GoodsBostik launches bio-based specialty hot melt adhesives range, including specifically copolyesters and copolyamides. These adhesives are designed to meet the increasing demand for more sustainable materials in the manufacturing of technical textile, automotive interior, filters, electronics, footwear among others.

Sustainable Alternative without Compromising Performance


In today's world, there is a growing focus on environmental sustainability and reducing carbon footprints. Recognizing this need, Bostik has focused its strategy on developing a range of high-performance, bio-based hot melt adhesives. These new offerings provide manufacturers with a more sustainable alternative without compromising on performance, strength, or durability. Easy to process, they bring up to 90% and more, of bio-based content. Bostik is leveraging Arkema’s long experience in high-performance bio-based materials and particularly a unique know-how in the chemistry of the castor plant, a non-edible plant, from which a wide range of high-performance long-chain biosourced polyamides are made.
