BYK launches BYK®-092, a VOC-free, silicone-containing additive for defoaming adhesives and sealants. BYK®-092 is an effective defoamer for aqueous systems, especially for clear coats and high gloss systems.

It can also be used to excellent effect in matted and pigmented systems. Thanks to its balanced compatibility, this product affects neither transparency nor gloss.
BYK®-092 is effective not only in all of the customary applications, but also in difficult applications such as HVLP and roller coatings. This additive can be introduced at any time during production.
This new BYK product is likewise recommended for defoaming printing inks and overprint varnishes, and can even counteract microfoaming. Neither the transparency nor the gloss is affected. The strong defoaming effects and long shelf life makes BYK®-092 ideal for adhesives.
