TPO & IBOA-free Adhesives
These innovative medical structural adhesives meet ISO 10993-10 for sensitization and skin irritation. They are free from TPO, a raw material classified as questionable, and are formulated without IBOA, which can cause skin irritation. They thus meet the manufacturer's specifications for wearables that the devices worn directly on the skin or at least close to the skin must be free of substances that irritate the skin.
The adhesives were specially developed for bonding SS, PC, PI, PVC, TPU and substrates with low surface energy and are characterized by excellent adhesion and resistance to aging. The Dymax 2000-MW series cures with UV / broadband radiation in seconds, and some products also offer long-lasting protection during sterilization in the autoclave.

These adhesives are environmentally friendly, one-component formulations that are solvent-free and meet the biocompatibility requirements of ISO 10993-5 for cytotoxicity. Typical areas of application are medical wearables that are worn in close proximity to the skin, e.g. B. Continuous Blood Glucose Meters, Large Volume Injectors, Patient Monitoring Devices, and Pain Management Devices. Fluorescent formulations that allow easy inline quality control in automated manufacturing facilities are also available.
