Jowat’s New Sustainable HMA for Food Packaging ApplicationJowat has launched Jowatherm® GROW 853.20 & Jowatherm® GROW 853.22, bio-based hot melt adhesives for packaging applications.

Jowatherm® GROW 853.20 – Sustainable Adhesive with Low Processing Temperature

Jowatherm® GROW 853.20 is characterized by low stringing and clean adhesive cut-off, which prevents adhesive wastes and soiling of packaging and machine parts. The adhesive has a high content of renewable raw materials and is environment friendly. The low processing temperature facilitates a significant reduction in energy consumption, conserves resources and optimizes the working environment.

The sustainability of the adhesive has been verified and awarded the DIN-tested biobased 20 – 50 percent (8C183) certification mark.

Jowatherm® GROW 853.22 – Adheres to Different Surfaces

Jowatherm® GROW 853.22 provides adhesion to a wide range of surfaces to facilitate reliable bonding. Also, high flexibility at low temperatures benefits deep-freeze applications.

The high content of renewable raw materials makes the packaging HMA ideal for companies that want to avoid fossil-based raw materials.
