At this year’s LIGNA trade fair, Jowat will be focusing on PUR hot melt adhesives for the wood and furniture industry which are not subject to special labeling. With the Jowatherm-Reaktant® MR product group, it will be the first time, Jowat is showcasing an extensive portfolio of PUR hot melt adhesives for different applications.
Established Products for Edgebanding
At the globally leading trade show for the wood-processing industry, Jowat will be presenting already established products for edgebanding, as well as the latest developments: A newly developed adhesive for the general flat lamination of wood-based panels and sandwich elements. Jowat has been successfully active in the development of alternative technologies for manufacturing PUR hot melt adhesives that are not subject to hazardous material labeling since the early 2000s already. The Jowatherm-Reaktant® MR product group once more demonstrates the technological competence and innovation potential of the adhesives specialist in this field.
Prepolymer Adhesives for Load-bearing Glulam
Also on schedule for LIGNA, Jowat will be unveiling another milestone in the development of PUR products for solid wood applications and will be presenting a wide-ranging group of certified, liquid one-component PUR prepolymer adhesives of the Jowapur® series for load-bearing glulam. The range includes products for manual to very fast, automated bonding processes. Due to an optimized assembly-pressing time ratio, they can lead to an immediate marked increase in capacity – with no major investments, merely by a simple change of the adhesive.
Jowat has been represented at the leading trade show since the first LIGNA. This year’s participation is headed by the motto “Our word is our bond – since 1919”. You can find Jowat from 27 to 31 May in Hannover in hall 12 booth D69, in hall 15 booth A16, and in hall 27 booth D45 (booth focused on Solid Wood Bonding).
