From 19 – 21 March, Scott Bader will be showcasing their new bio-derived synthetic rheology modifiers. In line with Scott Bader’s 2036 Vision towards sustainability, they are furthering their Texipol inverse emulsion thickener range by introducing two new synthetic thickeners, based on substantial bio-derived content.

Philippe Piret, Head of Sales, France Specialty Polymers, commented “In the last two years we have put in a lot of effort to develop products to meet both customer demands and regulatory requirements for Artist Color paints. The biocide system in particular has been optimized according to the new regulations with a big focus on EN71”

Products Targeting EN-71 Standards

Products for the Artist Colors market will also be launched at ECS. These include new binders and rheology modifiers, targeting standards such as EN-71. Their updated Artist Color brochure will be available to assist customers with choosing thickeners and binders best suited for their needs.

With ever increasing regulations, Scott Bader is developing polymers that are compliant to regulations such as California Prop – 65 / EN-71.

Scott Bader’s Specialty Polymers team will be on hand to provide more information and to answer questions.
