Ground calcium carbonate is the least expensive and the most widely used filler in adhesives and sealants formulations. Thanks to its low surface area, this filler can be added in large amoubts by the formulator, offering exceptional rheological benefits to the formulation. Also, in high end adhesives and sealants formulations, it helps in maintaining viscosity, physical strength and other such properties.
