Polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) are aqueous, anionic dispersions of high molecular weight aliphatic polyester polyurethanes, which are especially used to manufacture heat activated adhesives. They offer high level of adhesive performance, provide excellent initial bond strength for high production efficiency and produce a bond line that does not discolor over time. Adhesives based on polyurethane dispersions are an interesting solution for use in flexible packaging applications, footwear, automotive, furniture, textiles, etc.
