VOC free, low toxicity, oxazoline resin emulsion. Used as an effective waterborne crosslinking agent for polymer emulsions containing carboxyl functionality. Provides very good adhesion to polyester, low-temperature curing, long pot-life, very good water resistance and adjustable softness/hardness. Reacts with functional groups such as carboxylic acid, acid anhydride, phenolic hydroxyl, thiol and epoxide. Improves water resistance and heat resistance of ambient-curing contact-type pressure sensitive adhesives and surface adhesion. Applications: pressure sensitive adhesives, non-woven fabric binders.
