Alcogum® L-229

Alcogum® L-229 by Nouryon is an alkali soluble in-situ thickener. It is a stable anionic latex emulsion. It possesses very good mechanical shear, freeze-thaw stability. It offers low brookfield viscosity, medium hercules viscosity and high water retention. It permits to increase the level of water retention and select the optimal low and high shear flow properties. It provides stable viscosity over a broad pH range and resistance to biological degradation. Alcogum® L-229 is used in adhesive compounds.
