Irgaguard® B 6000

Irgaguard® B 6000 by BASF is an inorganic silver glass zeolite based antimicrobial. Used in hotmelt, reactive and radiation curing adhesives and sealants for transparent applications such as films and sheets. Offers odor control, hygiene maintenance, the possibility for product differentiation and optimized with respect to color retention under sun light exposure as compared to standard Silver-based antimicrobials, which can show discoloration. Irgaguard® B 6000 inhibits growth of Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria, mold and yeast.
