Irganox® 3052

Irganox® 3052 by BASF is a multifunctional antioxidant containing 2-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-6-[(3-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl]methyl-4-methylphenyl acrylate. It is non-staining, non- discoloring, hindered phenolic antioxidant containing a moiety of deactivating alkyl radicals. It is stable to heat and light, has a low volatility, and is resistant to extraction. It protects organic substrates against both, thermo-oxidative and purely thermal degradation. It is compatible with thermoplastics, HIPS, ABS, BR, IIR, emulsion-SBR, SBS, SEBS, EPDM, EPM, MBS, MABS, SMA, modified acrylates, hydrocarbon resins, terpene and terpene phenolic resins, rosins and rosin derivatives, polyester-carbonates, polycarbonates, polymethacrylates, homo-and copolymers poly-alkyleneterephthalates, polyolefins, polyamides or polyphenyleneoxides. Recommended dosage rate ranges between 0.05-0.5%. Irganox® 3052 is listed in AICS, NDSL, ELINCS, MITI, ECL, PICCS, TSCA and China.
