Irganox® B 225 FF

Irganox® B 225 FF is a processing and long-term thermal stabilizer with high phenolic antioxidant content by BASF. It is basically a blend of 50% Irgafox® 168 and 50% Irganox® 1010. It maintains original melt flow and offers low color formation. Irgafox® 168 protects the polymers which are prone to oxidation and Irganox® 1010 contributes synergitically to polymer stabilization during processing. It is compatible with polyolefins and olefin-copolymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, TPE, synthetic rubber, polybutene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, polyurethanes, engineering plastics, styrene homo- and copolymers. Its recommended dosage rate in polyolefins is 0.1- 0.25%. Irganox® B 225 FF is listed with AICS, DSL, IECSC, ELINCS, ENCS, ECL, TSA, PICCS, BUWAL and TSCA registery. It is approved for use in food contact applications.
