BYK® -016

BYK® -016 by BYK is a compound of foam-destroying polymer and hydrophobic particle. Acts as a silicone-free polymeric defoamer. It is an alkylphenol ethoxtlate- free and non-volatile matter. It is a very effective mineral oil-free defoamer and can be added any time during production. BYK-016 is easy to incorporate and shows an excellent compatibility in sensitive systems. Its separation may occur during storage and transportation. It is used for aqueous adhesives. Its recommended level is 0.1 – 1% based upon total formulation.
