Chiguard® 234

Chiguard® 234 by Chitec Technology is an off-white, crystalline ultraviolet (UV) light absorber. It is composed of 2-[2-hydroxy-3,5-di-(1,1-dimethylbenzyl)]-2H-benzotriazole.

Exhibits lowest volatility and provides protection against ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
It is compatible with PET, PBT, polycarbonate, polyacetal copolymer (POM), nylon and TPE.
Suitable for use in adhesives involving high temperature processing.
The recommended usage level of Chiguard® 234 is 0.1 to 5%.
