Terephthalic acid dibutyl ester (100%). Acts as a plasticizer and is phthalate-free. It is a colorless liquid with mild odor. Provides lower plastisol viscosity, excellent low temperature flexibility, and fusion rates similar to typical high solvating plasticizers in vinyl formulations. Lowers glass transition temperature (Tg) and provides comparable viscosity response to currently used plasticizers. Suitable for waterborne adhesives. Listed on TSCA (US Toxic Substances Control Act), DSL (Canadian Domestic Substances List), MITI (Japanese Handbook of Existing and New Chemical Substances) and IECSC (Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China).
