Foralyn™ 5020-F

Foralyn™ 5020-F by Synthomer is the methyl ester of hydrogenated rosin, used as a tackifier. Possesses good cutaneous tolerance and aging characteristics. Exhibits low color, low odor, wide solubility and compatibility range. Used in bookbinding, caulks, sealants, contact adhesives, hot-melt adhesives, laminating, non-wovens, non food contact packaging and pressure sensitive adhesives. Applicable for solvent-borne adhesives, tapes, labels, water-borne adhesives, case and carton sealing closings. Compatible with nitrocellulose, ethylcellulose, chlorinated rubber, PVC, vinyl acetate-chloride copolymers and polyvinyl ethers. Also compatible with water-soluble film-formers as casein and starch, natural and synthetic resins and rubber, asphalt, and waxes. Foralyn™ 5020-F is incompatible with cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate.
