Regalrez™ 1018 by Synthomer is a highly stable, low molecular weight, non-polar liquid hydrocarbon resin. It functions as a tackifier. Exhibits low softening point, low color, excellent thermal and UV stability. It is produced by polymerization and hydrogenation of pure monomer hydrocarbon feedstocks. Suitable for case & carton sealing closings, non food contact and specialty tape, labels and packaging. Compatible with PE, PP, natural rubber, EPDM, butyl rubber, ethylene-propylene copolymers, isoprene, and SIS, SEPS and SEBS block copolymers. Regalrez™ 1018 is used in caulks and sealants, hot-melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives and solvent-borne adhesives.
