EE 378 by eChem is polyethyleneglycol cocoate. Acts as a plasticizer as well as a viscosity modifier. Manufactured by reacting a polyethylene glycol with lauric acid (coconut oil). It is water soluble. Offers good wetting and dispersion properties along with low foaming tendency. It is hydrolyzed under hot alkaline conditions. EE 378 is recommended for adhesives.
