Catalyst 511 series by Evonik is a diluted solution of a highly reactive platinum complex. It is used to cure vinylfunctional silicone polymers with SiH-functional silicone crosslinkers. It is designed for adhesive and sealant applications. Recommended dosage level of Catalyst 511 is 10-5 ppm and has a shelf life of 12 months. Increasing the concentration leads to higher cross-linking rates and shorter pot lives.
