Crosslinker AC 10 by Evonik is ethyl triacetoxy silane. It is used as a crosslinker for producing moisture-curing silicone sealants. Using this compound, hydroxy-fictionalized silicone polymers (Polymer OH) are crosslinked to obtain silicone elastomers under the effect of a catalyst and moisture. Crosslinker AC 10 provides adhesion on many substrates, transparency and offers low reactivity.
