AEROXIDE® TiO2 P 90 by Evonik is hydrophilic fumed titanium dioxide. It is used in sealants. It acts as catalyst, catalyst support and photocatalyst. It possesses heat stabilizing properties. It offers benefits such as increased specific surface area, high (photo-) catalytic activity and good transparency in thin layers. AEROXIDE® TiO2 P 90 improves the ageing stability of silicone rubber at temperatures above 200 °C and reduces the flammability of silicone elastomers.
