Primol™ 542

Primol™ 542 by ExxonMobil is a purified blend of saturated hydrocarbon. This grade acts as a diluent. It is obtained from petroleum through purification by catalytic hydrogenation. It offers very good color and oxidative stability. It provides low volatility and maintains transparency. It exhibits high molecular weight and is used at low oil content. Primol™ 542 is recommended for hot-melt adhesives formulations used in sanitary products. It meets the requirement of following specifications including USA FDA 21 CFR 178.3620, US regulation (EU) 10/2011, National sanitation foundation, US & European Pharmacopeia.
