PARAPLEX® G-41

Polyester adipate. Acts as a high molecular weight permanent plasticizer. Exhibits better compatibility when exposed to high temperature and high humidity conditions. Compatible with cellulose acetate butyrate, chlorinated rubber, nitrile, nitrocellulose and polyvinyl acetate. Offers advantages in color, plasticizing efficiency, processing characteristics, compatibility at high plasticizer levels, and resistance to soap as well as detergent solutions. Also offers resistance to migration into rubber or polystyrene type polymers, very low hydrocarbon extraction and excellent permanence properties in PVC shown by very low volatility. Used in appliance as well as refrigerator gasket applications.
