PARAPLEX® G-57

Polyester adipate. Acts as a permanent plasticizer in PVC with good high humidity at elevated temperatures. Provides a balance of the best properties of high and low molecular weight plasticizers i.e. permanence as well as handling characteristics of a low molecular weight plasticizer. Also provides high volume resistivity and dielectric strength in standard electrical formulations. Compatible with cellulose acetate butyrate, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, chlorinated rubber, epichlorohydrin, nitrile and nitrocellulose. In comparison to other polyesters of similar molecular weight it offers faster fluxing, greater elongation, higher tensile strength, better resistance to polar as well as non-polar fluids, improved migration resistance and ease in handling. Used in appliance gasket and high temperature applications.
