Monomeric adipate. Acts as a plasticizer. Compatible with acrylic rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene and epichlorohydrin. In PVC plastisols, the low viscosity and good viscosity stability imparted by this additive allows plastisols to be formulated well in advance of use. Even blended with other higher solvating plasticizers, the viscosity build-up of the plastisol formulation is greatly reduced.
