Diisononyl phthalate. Acts as a plasticizer. Compatible with cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose, nitrile, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloride acetate. It replaces DOP where regulatory issues restrict the use of DOP as a general-purpose plasticizer. Plasthall® DINP with its medium level of performance has found general use in applications that require permanence higher than what would be obtained through the use of DOP. Offers good efficiency properties and low volatility characteristics. Used in gaskets applications.
