HELOXY™ Modifier 107

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Westlake Epoxy
HELOXY™ Modifier 107 by Westlake Epoxy is a viscosity reducing modifier or reactive diluent. It is the diglycidyl ether of cyclohexane dimethanol. It is fully compatible with the entire bisphenol A based series of epoxy resins as well as higher functionality epoxy resins. It maintains high reactivity yet provides workable viscosity at room temperature when using novolac or other high functionality epoxy resins. It decreases chemical resistance and elevated temperature performance. It is used for all classes of epoxy resins and it can also effectively serve as a reactive intermediate for further synthesis of various cycloaliphatic based resins. It improves air release and wetting characteristics and increase pot life in electrical, potting, encapsulation, and impregnation applications. The shelf life of HELOXY™ Modifier 107 is 5 years.
