Silquest™ VX-225 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is amino-functional, oligosiloxane-based adhesion promoter. Used in adhesives and sealants applications. It improves elasticity, the performance of moisture curable hybrid sealants, room temperature vulcanization (RTV) silicone and polyurethane. Silquest™ VX-225 Silane reduces VOCs of the final formulation vs typical amino silanes, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) emissions and yellowing with outdoor exposure. It lowers the modulus of the cured sealant and viscosity to improve sealant application rate.
