A-C® 820A

A-C® 820A by Honeywell is an synthetic wax, atomized medium density polyethylene homopolymer. It acts as a rheological aid in hot melt adhesives (HMAs), as a diluent to lower viscosity at the application temperature while improving substrate wetting, both leading to improved adhesion. Can be partially substituted for FT (Fisher Tropsch) wax in adhesive applications without detracting from formulation properties. Reduces processing duration, prevents oil migration, increases thermal and breakage resistance. Compatible with ethylene vinyl acetate. A-C® 820A is recommended for packaging, bookbinding and wood-working.
