OS® 3000

OS® 3000 by Honeywell is tetrakis (methyl ethylketoxime)silane in toulene. Acts as crosslinking agent. It is a clear, colorless to yellowish fluid with a typical solvent smell of toluene. Offers consistent formulations, good shelf life and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. OS® 3000 manufactures 1-part neutral cure silicone sealant and often used in sealant formulations to achieve fast-cure properties. OS® 3000 is the most reactive of all oximesilane crosslinkers and very seldom used all by itself.
