KVIS-200 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as an adhesion promoter, extender, plasticizer, tackifier and wetting agent. It is a clear, viscous, non-toxic and chemically inert polyisobutylene (PIB) grade. It possesses high shear- and oxidative stability. It improves tackiness with natural & synthetic rubbers and improves the quick stick & peel strength of elastomers.

It provides low color, excellent color stability, improved viscosity, increased cold temperature flexibility and decreased melt index.
It exhibits improved adhesion, softness, bond strength, cohesive strength, water- and oxidation resistance.
Recommended for hot-melt adhesives (HMAs) and pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs).
KVIS-200 is used in paper laminates, labels, surgical tapes, industrial tapes, masking tapes, friction tapes, multi-layer food packaging, disposable soft goods, book binding, carton sealing, carpet, shoes and furniture.
It is also suitable for sealants used in gap filling applications and for automobile segment for all kinds of butyl rubber adhesive applications.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
