SYLVARES™ 525 by KRATON is phenol-modified copolymer of styrene and alpha methyl styrene. It can be used in conjunction with another copolymer to control open time and hot tack of EVA-based hot melt adhesives for bookbinding and hygienic care products. It imparts fast set, heat resistance, light color and thermal stability to "water white resin". SYLVARES™ 525 is suitable for use in packaging and woodworking. It is compatible with styrene phase of SBCs, EVAs, paraffin, microcrystalline, FT and polyethylene waxes.
