SpeedCure BMS

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Lambson (Sartomer)
SpeedCure BMS by Lambson (Sartomer) is a 4-benzoyl-4’-methyldiphenyl sulphide. Acts as a highly reactive Type II photoinitiator. Exhibits good solubility properties, low migration and low yellowing. It induces the rapid photo-polymerization when formulated with a suitable tertiary amine synergist and in conjunction with Speedcure ITX/DETX and Speedcure EDB, it efficiently initiates the polymerization of pigmented systems. In combination with aminobenzoates, BMS provides fast, efficient initiation. Affords a single liquid additive with a liquid amine synergist comprising both initiator and synergist. SpeedCure BMS is used in adhesives. Suggested levels of use are 0.2 – 5% w/w Speedcure BMS together with 2 – 5% w/w amine synergist (quantities vary depending on individual formulations and applications).
