Benetex® OB

Optical Brightener, Fluorescent Whitening Agent. Heat resistant, chemically stable fluorescent whitener that provides brighter looking colors. Used to offset the yellowness of a polymer and to yield a whiter appearance. Creates brilliance by absorbing UV light, modifying the wavelength of the light and then emitting the light in a fluorescent fashion. Can be used to impart brightness to various thermoplastics, including: polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, cellulose acetate, polystyrene, linear polyester, and polyamides.
