BNX® 8000

Butylated reaction product of p-cresol and dicyclopentadiene. Acts as an outstanding non-staining polymeric sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. Provides excellent protection for SIS formulated and natural rubber based pressure sensitive adhesives. Also provides superior protection to neoprene based solution adhesives. It is highly active and can be used at low concentrations. Offers low water solubility and non-volatility characteristics. Used in water-based adhesives. Recommended loading concentration ranges between 0.5% and 2.0% depending on substrate, processing conditions, and long-term stability requirements.
