FTR™ 6100 by Mitsui Chemicals is an amorphous tackifier. It is a copolymer of styrene monomer and aliphatic monomer. It shows low odor, excellent high-temperature adhesion and good solubility in various solvents. It offers improved moldability & water repellence. It possesses excellent color and heat stability. It is compatible with various elastomers. FTR™ 6100 is used in hot melt adhesives for book binding, packaging, pressure-sensitive tape and acrylic adhesives. It is suitable for molded film, sealing film & sheet.
