YOHTOL™ DP-CD by Mitsui Chemicals has been designed as a water-soluble antibacterial and anti-mold agent in conjunction with CycloChem Bio. By encapsulating iodine-based YOHTOL™ DP95 with cyclodextrin, this antibacterial has been designed with properties of light- and heat resistance. The product possesses antibacterial qualities with regard to various bacteria, including Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. It can be used in adhesives.
