Silquest™ Y-9669 by Momentive Performance Materials is a versatile adhesion promoter designed for many filled and reinforced resin systems. It reacts with such resin systems as isocyanates, acrylates, epoxies, phenolics and silicone. It gives fast hydrolysis time and increases stability of resin/silane bond at elevated temperature. This silane is especially useful when the resulting material must withstand higher temperatures such as in phenolic resin and fiber-glass composites. Silquest™ Y-9669 finds applications in adhesives and sealants.
