Polyvinyl chloride. It acts as a plasticizer. Exhibits compatibility with polyvinyl acetate emulsions and acrylics. Provides excellent wet tack, set time and open time. Offers good adhesion- and solvating characteristics. Shows fast and lower temperature processing. Possesses excellent stain- and extraction resistance to aliphatic solvents. Used in caulks and polyvinyl acetate adhesives.
