METHYL ETHYL KETONE by Oxiteno is a solvent for use in adhesives. Provides formulations with lower viscosity and more solid content compared to formulations made with lower VOC (volatile organic compound) solvents. Also provides excellent solubilization of polyurethane resins and high evaporation rate suitable for drying. It is a clear liquid with a characteristic odor of ketones, partially soluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents. Exhibits high solvency power and is compatible with most of the resins used in the adhesive. METHYL ETHYL KETONE also offers low VOC emission due to low photochemical reactivity.
