PPA - 7108

Phenalkamine. Acts as a wet surface epoxy hardener or curing agent. It is mannich base, a reaction product of distilled cashew nutshell liquid and polyamine. PPA - 7108 is an epoxy adduct of phenalkamine in solution form. Very good compatibility with epoxy resin based on bis - phenol A, bis - phenol F as well as phenolic novolacs. Offers excellent rapid cure even at low temperatures, good adhesion to mechanically cleaned surfaces, excellent curing under humid as well as damp conditions and workable pot life at lower temperature. Also has a non critical mixing ratio, low viscosity, very good flexibility and good chemical, solvent as well as water resistance.
