Pexalyn® 9085 by Pinova is a glycerol ester of rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It is a pale, thermoplastic resin produced via a special process that delivers light initial color and product stability. It has high tack & adhesion, low acid number and broad solubility as well as wide compatibility range. It is considered a cost effective tackifier resin in various types of adhesives. Pexalyn® 9085 is used in hot melt, pressure sensitive, solvent and water based adhesive systems including acrylics, SBR, and neoprene.
