FASCAT® 4208X

Dibutyltin bis (2-ethylhexoate) in 50% xylene. Acts as a crosslinking catalyst. Offers ease of processing. It allows for longer pot life for silicone emulsions and adhesives that cure at room temperature. It shows moderate activity as a curing catalyst for silanol condensation polymerization reactions for caulk and sealant applications. It may also be used in one or two component systems which are compatible with aromatic solvents. It has a recommended use level of 1.3%.
