XIRAN® SZ26080 by aurorium is a non-modified styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer. Acts as an adhesion promoter, catalyst, accelerator, crosslinking agent, curing agent and vulcanizing agent. This low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer contains 26% maleic anhydride and has a low Mw (molecular weight) of 80000 g/mol. Imparts high solvent solubility, excellent thermal stability, high-melt viscosity and high Tg (glass transition temperature) of 160°C. XIRAN® SZ26080 exhibits the ability to hydrolyze and form low-viscosity aqueous anionic salt solutions. Designed for use in adhesives.
