Nano precipitated calcium carbonate (NPCC). Acts as a functional filler. It is made by membrane dispersion precipitation method. Each particle is surface coated with modifier such as fatty acid, organic coupling agents to improve dispersion and compatibility with polymeric matrix. It is very good at controlling rheological and tensile properties. Can be used in various adhesives and sealants. Particularly recommended for silicone-, polyurethane- and acrylic sealants. Acrylic sealants can be used in construction, sanitary and industrial sectors.
