SABOSTAB® UV 37

SABOSTAB® UV 37 by Sabo is a hexadecyl 3,5-bis-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoate. It is a benzoate light stabilizer. It is non-discoloring and has low volatility and excellent resistance to migration. It is non-basic and non-interactive with other formulation components. SABOSTAB® UV 37 is a highly effective synergist used to boost the performance of other light stabilizers such as hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) and UV absorbers. It is used in polyolefins (PE, PP, TPO), rigid PVC, polyacetals and polyesters. It is used in adhesives. It's typical addition levels range from 0.1-0.5%, depending upon the application. In rigid PVC, polyacetals, and polyesters, typical addition levels range from 0.1-1%, in combination with an equivalent amount of a UV absorber (e.g., SABO®STAB UV 312). It is listed on the ECL, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, NZIoC, AICS, DSL, TCSI, EINECS and TSCA chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
