SABOSTAB® UV 40

SABOSTAB® UV 40 by Sabo is a 1,6-hexanediamine bis (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) polymer with 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine, reaction products with N-butyl-1-butanamine and N-butyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinamine. Acts as a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer. Provides exceptional UV- and long-term thermal stability in polyolefins. It provides low volatility, excellent resistance to extraction, minimal pigment interaction. Its narrow polydispersity ensures consistent performance in use and processing. SABOSTAB® UV 40 is compatible with PE, PP, TPO, polyamide Fibers, flexible and rigid PVC, styrenic TPE and polyurethanes. Its applications include tapes and adhesives. It is also recommended for use in systems containing mineral fillers and/or carbon black. Recommended dosage is 0.05-1%, depending upon the application. It possesses extensive food contact clearances. It is listed on the ECL, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, NZIoC, AICS, DSL, TCSI and TSCA chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 5 years.
